Welcome to the ITI Spanish Network
We are a non-profit group, run by a committee of volunteers abiding by a set of bylaws, and comprise around 200 professional translators and interpreters working into or out of Spanish, Basque, Catalan and Galician.
Most of us are based in the UK but we have members all over the Spanish-speaking world.
Our network is part of the UK-based Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI).
Membership is open to anyone who is a member of the ITI.
As a network we aim to:
– provide mutual professional support to our members through a member-only e-group, free webinars for members, in-person workshops and social gatherings
– nurture entrance into the profession through our mentoring scheme
– offer financial assistance through a CPD-specific grant scheme
– encourage listing in our searchable directory accessible to members only

Translators work with written texts, while interpreters help you understand the spoken word.
